Vendor Participation Statement
The NorthEast Contact Center Forum (NECCF) is a non-profit organization. Our prime purpose is to bring together people who run call centers so they can learn more about our industry and share ideas, concerns and issues. The organization is managed by a group of business professionals in a volunteer capacity. The commitment to our attendees is to stay true to our "grass roots" beginning and maintain focus on the call center manager and their concerns and issues. This commitment sometimes put us in a difficult position when it comes to vendors, sales people and consultants, despite their obvious value as our partners in delivering high quality products. If our attendees sense that the forum is a platform for establishing new business, farming leads or general sales conversations, we believe we will fall short of our commitment and the forum will fail. It is of this concern that we ask that you respect the following decisions: * Forums - We reserve the right to reject anyone's request to attend if we feel their attendance could be misconstrued as having a motive of monetarily profiting from interaction, present or future, with attendees. * Vendor Expo - Each June, since 2002, we have hosted a forum where vendors, sales people and consultants are given direct access to our attendees in exchange for a vendor sponsor fee. During this vendor expo, we naturally limit attendance of vendors to those that have paid a sponsor's fee to exhibit. * Venues - Since we are a nonprofit, "grass roots" organization we tend not to select venues for their presentation, capacity and features value. Instead, we look for unique venues that will be attractive to our attendees, and thus increase the number who will join us and visit with our sponsoring vendors. Therefore, we are often in a position were we encounter limited resources when it comes to space, A/V, electricity, Internet access etc.
We hope you understand and can appreciate our position. We understand the value you represent in our industry, but we must maintain an equitable balance in order for the NECCF to fulfill its mission and continue to serve the individuals to whom we have made our primary commitment.
